Expedia Group pays Up to 4% on eligible bookings

What it is

Expedia Group runs one affiliate program, the Travel Creator Program, for three of the biggest names in travel: Expedia, Vrbo and Hotels.com. From a single account you can link to millions of stays, flights, cars, cruises and activities, create deep links to a specific hotel or flight, and embed search widgets on your site.

What it pays

Expedia says you receive up to 4% on every eligible booking made through your links. Rates vary by product and are shown in full once you log in, and Expedia notes they can change under its program terms. Commission on cars is not available in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore or South Korea.

Tracking

This is the part to understand before you commit. Commission depends on a 7 day booking window. Expedia's own help pages give the example: if the window is 7 days and your reader books on day 8, you earn nothing. On the positive side, the reader does not need to return through the same link; any booking on the same brand site inside the window counts, as long as your link was the last one used.

Who it suits

Content aimed at readers who are close to booking: deal roundups, "where to stay" guides for a specific trip, and holiday rental pages, where Vrbo is one of the strongest brands for family and group stays.
