Terms of service

Plain English. The rules for using affiliatejob, submitting programs, and what you can and cannot do with our data.

By using affiliatejob.org you agree to these terms. Free to browse, free to submit a program, optional $99/month featured listing tier. Editorial use of our data with attribution is allowed; wholesale copying into competing directories is not. Affiliate links are disclosed everywhere. We can update terms with notice on the homepage. Disputes get resolved by email at [email protected] first.

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using any part of affiliatejob.org (the site, the directory, the service), you (the user, the visitor, the submitter) agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site. Continued use after a material update of these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms apply to all visitors regardless of geography. Additional protections may apply to users in jurisdictions with stronger consumer protection laws (EU, UK, California, Australia, Canada). Where these terms conflict with mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory law prevails to the extent of the conflict.

2. Description of service

affiliatejob is a free directory of affiliate programs. Core services include: browsing program listings, searching and filtering, reading program reviews, comparing programs side by side, viewing affiliate network reliability scores, accessing the blog and editorial content, submitting affiliate programs for free listing, and optionally upgrading to a featured listing tier.

The site is operated as a static HTML reference directory hosted in Germany behind Cloudflare. There is no user account system, no login, no profile creation. The site does not require registration to access any standard feature.

3. Use license

You are granted a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to access and use the site for personal or business research, reference, and editorial purposes. This license includes the right to view content, follow links, fill out our voluntary forms, and reference our publicly published data in your own editorial content with proper attribution.

This license does not include: copying our verified program data into a competing directory, scraping the site at volumes that exceed normal browsing, removing copyright or attribution notices, framing the site within another site to misrepresent ownership, using our content to train AI systems for commercial use without permission, or any use that violates applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

When you use the site you agree not to:

Violation of acceptable use may result in IP based blocking via Cloudflare, removal of any submitted listings, and in egregious cases, referral to law enforcement.

5. Affiliate program submissions

What free standard listings include

Standard listings on affiliatejob are free forever for any program operator. Free listings include the full program review at /programs/[slug] (around 2,000 words of editorial content), schema markup (Product, Review, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList), inclusion in the homepage finder tool, placement on the relevant category landing page, comparison page generation, sitemap inclusion, llms-full.txt inclusion, network reliability score reference, and quarterly re verification.

What submitters represent and warrant

By submitting a program you represent and warrant that: the program is operational at the time of submission, you have the legal right to submit on behalf of the program (you are an owner, employee, or authorized agent), the data you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, the program complies with applicable affiliate marketing law in the jurisdictions where it operates, you accept that we will manually verify your submission and may reject it for any reason, you understand that approved listings are subject to editorial review and the published listing may differ from your submitted text, and you accept that we may include affiliate referral links to your program where the network allows it.

What we exclude

We do not list programs that have closed, programs whose terms cannot be verified against a public source, programs in excluded categories (adult content, unregulated cryptocurrency, payday lending, predatory loan products, multi level marketing structures dressed as affiliate, or programs that violate applicable law), networks with F grade reliability where the underlying program has no track record of direct payment, and programs whose owner has been previously banned for term gaming or editorial manipulation attempts.

Editorial discretion

We reserve the right to reject any submission, remove any listing, edit listing content for editorial consistency, refuse featured listing upgrades, and update reliability scores based on community data. Editorial decisions are final but factual disputes are addressed promptly via the dispute process described below.

6. Featured listing tier

The optional featured listing tier costs $99 per month, billed monthly with no minimum commitment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and is one click via the customer dashboard or one email to [email protected].

What featured includes

What featured does not include

Featured tag transparency

Every featured listing is tagged "Featured listing" on every surface where it appears. The tag is visually distinct from regular editorial placements. Users can identify paid placements at a glance. We will not hide, remove, minimize, or relocate the featured tag in response to any payment, threat, or other inducement.

Featured listing termination

Programs that attempt to manipulate editorial via featured payment (demanding cons removal, threatening cancellation if a negative term is mentioned, requesting score increases) lose featured status immediately. Refunds for the unused portion of the current billing period are issued. The editorial review remains as written.

7. Affiliate disclosure

affiliatejob earns commissions when users sign up to programs through links on this site. This is disclosed at the top of every program review, in the footer of every page, in the dedicated disclosure policy, and here in the terms of service. We comply with FTC 16 CFR Part 255 (United States), EU Digital Services Act Article 26, and equivalent disclosure requirements in other jurisdictions where the site is accessed.

Some programs we list also pay second tier (sub affiliate) commissions on referred affiliates. Where applicable, we may earn from such second tier arrangements. This is also disclosed.

Featured listings are clearly tagged as paid placements separate from editorial rankings.

8. Editorial policy

Editorial decisions are made by editors who do not have visibility into who has paid for featured listings. Reliability scores are computed mechanically from defined inputs (community submitted payout reports, network history, our own monthly checks). Featured status is not an input to the formula. Editorial conclusions can update against featured programs based on community data without notice.

Editorial separation rules:

9. Intellectual property

Our content

The original editorial content on affiliatejob, including reviews, methodology pages, blog posts, the design system, the comparison framework, and the verified data structure, is the intellectual property of affiliatejob. Editorial use with attribution and a link back is permitted. Wholesale copying into competing directories is not permitted without written agreement.

Third party trademarks

We reference affiliate programs by their actual names and logos for editorial purposes. NordVPN, Surfshark, Kinsta, ConvertKit, Semrush, FreeTTS, Impact, PartnerStack, ShareASale, and all other program and network names mentioned on the site are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Our use is editorial and constitutes nominative fair use under US trademark law (and equivalent doctrines in other jurisdictions).

User submissions

By submitting a program for listing, you grant affiliatejob a non exclusive, royalty free, perpetual license to use, edit, publish, distribute, and display the submitted information for the purpose of operating the directory. You retain ownership of your underlying intellectual property; you grant us the license needed to publish a listing about it.

10. Disclaimers

Information accuracy

We work hard to verify program data every 30 to 60 days. Despite this effort, program terms change, networks update their policies, and edge cases occur. The information on this site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Users should verify current terms directly with each program before making business decisions or signing affiliate agreements.

Affiliate income

We make no representations or warranties about earnings potential from any affiliate program listed on this site. Income from affiliate marketing depends heavily on individual effort, audience match, content quality, traffic volume, and many other factors outside our control. Examples and case studies on the site reflect specific operators in specific contexts and should not be interpreted as guarantees of similar outcomes.

Third party programs

We do not control affiliate programs we list. Programs may change terms, close abruptly, fail to pay, or behave in ways that disadvantage affiliates. We attempt to flag reliability issues through our network reliability scoring system, but we cannot guarantee that any program will pay you, honor its terms, or remain operational. You sign up to affiliate programs at your own risk and subject to each program's own terms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, affiliatejob, its operators, and its content contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from: your use or inability to use the site, any conduct or content of any third party affiliate program, decisions you make based on information published on the site, unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data, errors or omissions in any content, or any other matter relating to the site.

Where law does not permit a limitation of liability, our total cumulative liability to any user for any claim arising out of these terms or use of the site shall not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100). For featured listing customers, total liability shall not exceed amounts actually paid by that customer in the trailing 12 months.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain types of damages. The above limitations may not apply to you in those jurisdictions, in which case the limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless affiliatejob and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the site in violation of these terms, your violation of any law or third party rights, your submission of false or misleading information through any form, or your unauthorized use of our content beyond the license granted in these terms.

13. Dispute resolution

Email first

Most disputes can be resolved by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 5 business days. If you have a complaint about content, a featured listing, your submission, or anything else, email is the fastest path to resolution.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operating jurisdiction without regard to conflict of laws principles. Where local consumer protection law grants you stronger rights, those rights apply notwithstanding this clause.

Informal resolution period

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to provide affiliatejob with 30 days written notice describing the dispute and the desired resolution. We will attempt to resolve in good faith during the notice period. This requirement does not apply to claims for injunctive relief related to intellectual property infringement.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the site immediately, without prior notice, for any conduct that violates these terms or that we determine, in our sole reasonable discretion, is harmful to other users, third parties, the directory's integrity, or the operating infrastructure.

You may discontinue use of the site at any time. There is no account to close because there is no account system. Featured listing customers may cancel their subscription at any time as described in section 6.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) shall survive any termination of these terms.

15. Changes to terms

We may update these terms as our practices evolve, the law changes, or for clarity. Material changes will be announced on the homepage and dated on this page. The version date at the bottom reflects the current terms. Continued use of the site after a material update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Previous versions of these terms are archived in the site's git history and available on request.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. The unenforceable provision shall be reformed to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving the original intent.

17. Entire agreement

These terms, together with the privacy policy and disclosure policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and affiliatejob regarding use of the site. They supersede any prior agreements, communications, or understandings between us related to the subject matter.

FAQ

Can I screenshot or quote affiliatejob in my own content?
Yes for editorial use with attribution and a link back. Blog posts, research, podcasts, video reviews, journalism. We are happy to be cited. We are less happy when entire data tables are copied wholesale into competing directories without permission. When unclear, email and ask.
What if my program has been wrongly excluded?
Email [email protected] with the program URL and the rejection reason. Most rejections are based on category exclusions, unverifiable terms, or programs that appear closed. If we made a mistake we re evaluate within 7 days and approve if appropriate.
Can I sue affiliatejob?
You retain whatever legal rights apply in your jurisdiction. We require an informal 30 day resolution attempt first. Liability is capped per section 11. Most disputes resolve via email within a few weeks because we are responsive and not interested in fighting over things that are easy to fix.
What happens if affiliatejob shuts down?
We have no plans to shut down. If we ever did, we would announce it 90 days in advance, refund any active featured listings prorated for unused time, archive the site at archive.org, and offer a final data export for any program owner who wants their listing data. Domain ownership policy in case of long term inactivity is documented in our internal continuity plan.
Are these terms enforceable in my country?
Mandatory consumer protection law in your country prevails over any conflicting provision in these terms. Most provisions (acceptable use, intellectual property attribution, basic warranties) are enforceable globally. Some specific clauses (limitation of liability caps, dispute resolution forum) may be modified by local law.
