What LearnWorlds is

LearnWorlds is a platform for creating and selling online courses, used by creators, coaches, trainers and companies. It competes with Teachable, Thinkific and Kajabi, and is known for interactive video, course websites and assessments.

What it pays

LearnWorlds sets its terms out in its affiliate agreement. Direct referrals earn 25%, and when that customer renews their plan, the renewal also earns 25%. Commission is calculated on net sales revenue, less tax.

Returning visitors count too. If a customer you referred comes back within 60 days of your most recent referral and buys, that sale earns 25%, unless another affiliate referred them directly. A customer who lets a plan lapse and reactivates later falls under that same 60 day rule.

Getting paid

Sales show as pending for 30 days, matching LearnWorlds' refund period. Payouts are made on the 20th of every month by PayPal, with a $100 minimum. If you are a LearnWorlds customer yourself, part of your commission is first applied as credit towards your own subscription, and the rest goes to PayPal.

The rules

• No self referrals, and no referring companies you own or hold shares in.
• No coupons, cashback or incentives without prior approval.
• No brand name in your domain or company name, and no traffic from pay to click, pop ups or cookie stuffing.

Our take

Commission on renewals as well as the first sale gives this program real recurring value, and the written terms are unusually precise. The $100 minimum suits affiliates who send a steady stream of creators. Ungraded until there is a payout record.
