What Omio is

Omio, formerly GoEuro, lets travellers compare and book trains, buses, flights and ferries across Europe and beyond in one search. Its affiliate programme is run in house and offers links, widgets and deep links to specific routes.

What it pays

Omio does not publish a single rate. Its own FAQ says the commission depends on the market you promote and the return on investment your traffic produces, and asks partners to contact its affiliate team for details. In practice that means rates are agreed per partner rather than posted.

Getting paid

Commission is paid by bank transfer, 30 to 60 days after Omio approves your invoice. The minimum is €100; a smaller balance rolls into the next month. Omio describes its payments as timely and automatic.

Who it suits

European itineraries where the train is part of the story: Paris to Amsterdam, Rome to Florence, rail trips across Germany and Switzerland. Rail content converts well because readers need a ticket for a specific date and route.

How to use it well

Link to the exact route rather than the home page. A reader planning a Milan to Venice day trip who lands on that route, already filled in, is far more likely to book than one who has to start a search. Omio also compares buses and flights on the same route, which helps on budget travel pages where the cheapest option is not always the train.
